Contrary to my earlier April Fool’s Stuck – No country to call home I’m alive and well in Hamburg Germany with my new job.

When I read about your staged misfortune I was about to write a sympathetic note, when I saw a colleague calling you names in IRC and only then I noticed the date.

You got me but not my wife. When I told her your story she told me it was a “tall tale”, the part about not being allowed reentry into the US gave it away for her.
